CONGRESS CENTRE AND HOTEL FLORET

Near the Czech capital Praque, a few minutes on highway D1 in the direction of Brno, in the valley of the Botič creek, you can find the village Průhonice. It is distinguished by a castle with an old chapel and an adjacent park with decorative woods, visited by thousands of tourists all the year round. The park is especially attractive in the spring time when hundreds of azaleas and rhododendrons are in full bloom. Here the Congress and Education Centre Floret is located.

CASTLE AND PARK

The first manor in Průhonice was a fortress in the roman style, which was then several times rebuilt. The castle has acquired the nowadays appearance in the years 1889 – 1894, when it was adapted in the new – renaissance style by the architect Jiří Stibral. At the same time the castle owner the prince Sylva Taroucca has found a large park, which is one of the biggest and most valuable natural – landscape parks in the Europe.
