Excursion

Scientific excursion will be directed to the Middle and Northwest Bohemia and following items will be presented:

the examples of land consolidation (remedy of eroded fields),

the areas affected by opencast mining of brown coal (damage of land surface, soil contamination in surrounding areas),

the examples of land rehabilitation after the opencast coal-mining (rehabilitation of land surface, repeated afforestation of contaminated areas in the Krušné hory mountains).
